Mississippi County Economic Development finished the year strong with 4 new companies and 1 expansion. The new companies and their anticipated job creation are as follows:
A & J Aviation – 16 jobs
Ratner Steel – 50 jobs
McMinn Contracting – 50 jobs
Calstrip Industries – 45 jobs
Nucor Steel Arkansas (expansion) – 100 jobs
The county is grateful to have these wonderful companies with good paying wages in the area. It is also noteworthy that the companies are spread throughout the county representing Manila, Osceola, and Blytheville. Consistent economic growth in all geographic areas will boost morale, quality of life, and financial prosperity in local families.
