The Mississippi County, AR Economic Development organization announces that in 2020 its manufacturing partners within the county will invest over $1.6 Billion dollars. Considering all the disruption, that has bedeviled this year, we are extremely proud that our local manufactures feel this level of confidence about the future of business and manufacturing in Mississippi County, Arkansas. We believe this ongoing investment reflects the job stability in much of the manufacturing sector. With these investments primarily by Nucor, BRS, and Atlas Tube Miss Co, AR will have the capacity to be the largest steel producing county in the United States of America.

In addition to the industrial investment the organization and staff have received several awards this year.
